Track the Copic markers you own using your iPhone or smartphone. Never buy duplicate colors again!
Have you ever been shopping at your favorite craft and hobby shop and decided that you'd like to expand your Copic® marker collection? This handy app lets you keep track of which colors you already have with the tap of a finger. Just by clicking on a labeled color tile, you can mark or unmark a color to match any color in the Copic® marker palette.
Android Users! — You can still use this application, just select your "Browser" icon, go to the URL in Step 1:
http://www.hyliston.net/iphone/copic/app.htm
and then select "New Bookmark". In the future, you can use this bookmark to go to the Copic® Colors app, and it will remember your selections. You can ignore the rest of the steps that are specific for the iPhone app.
Here are the steps to install this web-based application on your iPhone:
Use the Safari web browser on the iPhone and then navigate to
http://www.hyliston.net/iphone/copic/app.htm
You can also use the QR code to the right. You can try out the app here, but once you install it on your home screen, you will have more screen space to see all the options (especially the Earth tones).
At the bottom center of the screen, click on the bookmark icon
(
),
or in some versions of Safari, this button looks like a plus sign
(
).
Either way, touch this button.
A new menu will appear.
Tap the "Add to Home Screen" button.
This is the last step! On the last screen, you will get a chance to name your new application.
The default name is "Copic Colors", which fits nicely on the home screen. You can, of course, change it to whatever you want.
Once you have a name you like, touch the "Add" button in the top right corner.
The Safari window will disappear, and your home screen will appear. Now, to use the Copic® Colors application, just touch the icon. You'll never need to go back into Safari again to use the application and track your marker colors.
